Due to the unfinished COVID-19 pandemic, some international competitions will be held this year with new forms such as online or hybrid. We have also had careful consideration and discussion on these matters, in order to maintain fairness and credibility and to secure the legitimacy of the winners, we decided to hold this year’s violin competition at Tongyeong concert hall.

Above all, we have added guidelines related to COVID-19 for the safe operation of the competition.

-          Candidates selected for the first round must submit a negative COVID-19 test result before arriving at the competition venue in Tongyeong.

(The test results are only valid within one week from the date of arrival. Inspection fee by yourself)

-          The competition will support the full cost of quarantine for foreign candidates if they are quarantined according to the guidelines of the Korean government.
