Youngsung Park Korea

Pianist Youngsung Park is steadily building his career with consistent dedication and perseverance. He has won several prestigious awards, including second prize at the Dong-A Music Competition, second prize at the JoongAng Music Competition, first prize at the KBS.Kepco Music Competition, grand prize at the Sungjung Music Competition, first prize at the Asia Chopin Concerto Award, and first prize along with the Audience Award at the Mozart International Competition in Aachen.

 

As a soloist, Park has collaborated with renowned orchestras such as the Suwon Philharmonic Orchestra, KBS Symphony Orchestra, Prime Philharmonic Orchestra, and KNUA Orchestra. His recitals have taken him to esteemed venues like the Salon de Honor at the Korean Cultural Center in Latin America and the Centro Cultural Kirchner in Argentina. He has also appeared in the Kumho Young Artist Series, the KNUA Piano Series, and participated in chamber music performances at the Osaka Korean Cultural Center and the Korean Music Festival in Germany.

 

Park’s musical growth is evident through his participation in solo and chamber music performances, where he has been awarded the Leipzig Academy Scholarship. Additionally, he has received scholarships from Kookmin Bank and the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism. He graduated from Pohang Arts High School and studied at the Korea National University of Arts under distinguished professors such as Daejin Kim, Chong-Pil Lim, Eun-Jung Shon, Woosung Kang, and Oxana Yablonskaya.

Min Jeong Jeong Korea

Following her education at Yewon School and Seoul Arts High School, Min Jeong Jeong graduated from Seoul National University College of Music with top performance marks. She then earned her master’s and doctoral degrees at the same university, both with top honors. She later studied in Germany, where she completed the Konzertexamen at the Hanns Eisler Academy of Music in Berlin. She gained prominence by winning top prizes in over 10 international competitions, including the Scriabin International Competition, as well as domestic competitions such as the Silver Prize at the KBS Seoul New Music Competition.

 

She was invited to perform solo recitals at numerous international music festivals, including the Berlin Excellence Concert, sponsored by Daniel Barenboim, the Belgian Primavera Pianistica Festival, and the Northwest German Philharmonic Summer Festival. As an accompanist, she has expanded her scope both domestically and internationally. Currently, she teaches at Seoul National University, Yewon School, and Seoul Arts High School. In 2022, she was appointed as an assistant professor at Georgia Central University in the United States, and she now divides her time between Korea and the U.S. for her professional engagements.

So You Hong Korea

Pianist So You Hong is praised for her poised stage presence and exceptional collaborative skills, which elevate the quality of every performance. She graduated from Yewon School and Seoul Arts High School before earning her bachelor's degree in piano from Yonsei University. Admitted to the graduate program at Yonsei University as a top student, she received a master's degree in collaborative piano with a performance scholarship. Early in her career, she gained recognition as a soloist in competitions and orchestral performances, and she quickly became known for her excellence in chamber music.

 

As a collaborative pianist, Hong has garnered international acclaim, performing on prestigious stages such as the Centro Cultural Kirchner in Buenos Aires, Argentina, the Macau String Associations in China, the Musica in Collina Lapedona Festival in Italy, and the Aomori Museum of Art in Japan. She is an active accompanist for competitions in Spain, Germany, Italy, Austria, Russia, Japan, and China. Additionally, she has served as the official accompanist for the Music in PyeongChang Festival, the Arona Music Festival in Tenerife, Spain, the Seoul International Music Competition, and the ISANGYUN Competition.

 

Hong is also the studio pianist for Korea's pioneering violinist

Young Uck Kim and regularly collaborates with leading musicians, including violinists Soovin Kim, Soon Ik Lee, Kyung Sun Lee, Bomsori Kim, Jiwon Song, and cellists Sungwon Yang and Young Song. Her diverse performances span solo recitals and chamber music, showcasing her versatility and artistry as a pianist.
