Applications Open for ISANGYUN Competition 2025 [Discipline: Cello]

The ISANGYUN Competition is held in remembrance of Isang Yun (1917-1995), the renowned Korean composer, and to support talented young musicians from all over the world. The Competition is held alternately in three disciplines Cello, Piano and Violin.

This year’s Cello competition will take place from November 1 to 9 in Tongyeong Concert Hall. It's open to cellists of all nationalities born between November 1, 1995 and October 31, 2010. Applications for participation will be available from May 22 at the online support site below. Applicants must submit an online application with all documents by 11:59 p.m. on July 31, 2025 (KST). They can apply at the link below.

2025 윤이상국제음악콩쿠르 참가 지원 안내 [첼로 부문]

한국 출신의 세계적인 작곡가 윤이상(1917-1995)을 기리고 전 세계 재능 있는 젊은 음악인을 발굴하고 육성하기 위해 매년 첼로, 피아노, 바이올린 3가지 부문으로 번갈아 개최되는 윤이상국제음악콩쿠르가 올해 첼로 부문으로 진행됩니다. 참가 지원 자격은 1995년 11월 1일부터 2010년 10월 31일 사이에 출생한 자로 국적에 관계없이 누구나 참가할 수 있습니다.

참가 접수는 5월 22일(목)부터 아래 온라인 지원사이트에서 가능하며, 지원서와 함께 구비 자료 전부를 2025년 7월 31일(수) 자정까지 제출해야 합니다. (한국시간 기준)
